Supercars Jokingly ‘Blamed’ For Paris Smog

Officials in Paris have implemented strict rules on driving to try and cut down on pollution after smog in the city reached potentially dangerous levels.
Only drivers with odd-numbered registration plates were allowed to drive on the first day of the temporary ban. Those with even numbers on their reg plates were allowed to take to the roads on the second day, and so on.
Public transport was also made free for three days, along with bike-sharing services.
It was slightly unfortunate that the 2014 GT and Classic Rallye de Paris started just a couple of days before the ban came into force.
That led to tongue-in-cheek speculation from the online community that a stunning Ferrari F40 and other supercars that took part could be to blame. Of course they’re not…but it gives us an excuse to show you some great footage of the event courtesy of alexsmolik
