German giant Volkswagen are set to unveil their futuristic T-ROC concept SUV at the Geneva motor show.
Volkswagen say it combines “the agility of an all-wheel-drive SUV with the airlessness of a convertible”, and the central roof sections can be removed and stored in the boot.

The two-door T-ROC’s look is reminiscent of the Range Rover Evoque, with a low profile and compressed frame.
It can seat four and would feature an engine similar to that in the new Golf GTD, with a top speed of 130mph and a 0-62mph figure of 6.9 seconds.
The T-ROC has a seven-speed DSG gear-box and would have impressive fuel efficiency for an SUV of 57.6mpg.
It is not as big as the Volkswagen Tiguan but is larger than the firm’s Taigun SUV concept, which is currently under development.

Look out for real pictures when it is unveiled at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show, but for the meantime, here’s some pretty good pictures of an artist’s impression…
