As we know the TT-RS is a very special model in Audi’s line-up. With its five cylinders, four wheels drive and plenty of horsepower, the ultimate TT-RS sports coupe possesses the same magical combination of qualities as the legendary ”Ur-Quattro”. Audi TT-RS stock engine produces 340 hp and 332 lb/ft of torque, which makes the timer stop at 4.6 seconds for the classical 0-60 mph sprint.

AVUS PERFORMANCE took Audi’s ultimate sports coupe performance at the next level. The specialists at AVUS improved the power, aerodynamics and vision of the vehicle. With an adjustable coilovers and gloss black 20“ Sportec Mono wheels with special setup, the AVUS PERFORMANCE TT-RS looks more aggressive and run a lot smoother over counrty roads and race track.

AVUS tuner also boosted the engine to the stunning 460bhp and more than 472 lb/ft of torque. With these numbers the 0-60 sprint lasts only 3.8 seconds and the top speed increases to 194mph.

True to the motto „Gloss is out, matt is IN“, the tuner AVUS PERFORMANCE painted the striking TT-RS in matt black (other colors avaiable on request).

Driverless Audi TT

New TT S takes to the track, but leaves its driver at the startline!

It’s the world’s first driverless racing car. This very special TT is looking to set records as it makes its debut in one of the world’s toughest races.

The Autonomous Audi TTS quattro project is the firm’s latest display of ‘Vorsprung durch Technik’ and will tackles the infamous Pikes Peak Hill Climb in the USA.

The car will use a pair of roof mounted cameras attached to powerful computers to literally “see” the road ahead of the car.

Steering, throttle and brakes all offer wireless control. Once in acion the car will be monitored by a team of specialists who will intervene if the car appears to head out of control.

The non-competitive “drive” will take place 30 years after the German manufacturer’s quattro permanent four-wheel-drive technology first appeared.

Developed using the an updated, minaturised version of the technology that powered the VW Touareg called “Stanley” to victory in a US defence department sponsored race in 2007, Audi says the project could ultimately benefit motorists worldwide, allowing for the development of novel accident protection systems.

Peugeot's Audi TT

Peugeot has revealed more details about its take on the Audi TT, the RCZ.

The coupe caused a stir at the Frankfurt motor show two years ago when it was first revealed as a concept car and the production version retains the 'double bubble' roof and aluminium roof arches.

At the back, a pop-up spoiler lifts into two different positions, depending on speed.

The car is based on the same platform as the 308 small family car, but is lower and the wheels are set wider apart.

Three engines will be available from the car's launch next year.

156bhp 1.6-litre petrol
This is capable of 40.9mpg and emits 159g/km of carbon dioxide. It's mated to a six-speed manual gearbox, but a six-speed sequential automatic gearbox will be available next summer. It will be the only version to be offered with an auto 'box.

200bhp 1.6-litre petrol
The flagship model can blast from 0-62mph off in 7.6 seconds, yet is still capable of 39.8mpg and emits 165g/km of CO2. Peugeot says the four-cylinder engine will have a range of innovative technologies, such as a twin-scroll turbocharger for instant response at low revs.

Peugeot also says this engine has 'Sound System' technology, where a different sound is created at different revs. We look forward to hearing what this is all about.

163bhp 2.0-litre diesel
Diesel fans can can opt for 2.0-litre FAP which boasts fuel economy of 52.3mpg and CO2 emissions of 139g/km.

Interior
Expect a sporty driving position, with what Peugeot describes as 'wrap-around seats with integral head restraints that fit like a glove'.

There are metallic highlights around the dials and the dashboard is covered in soft-feel materials that are 'high-tech in appearance and very elegant in style'.

The RCZ is described as a 2+2 coupe and Peugeot says that the two seats in the rear are 'perfectly useable' – a description which can't really be aimed at the seats in the back of a TT. The RCZ's seats can be folded down to increase boot space.

Prices have yet to be announced, but whatever the cost, buyers can spend more personalising their RCZ.

Options include a carbon-fibre roof, roof arches in various colours and a range of 18- or 19-inch alloys available in several finishes – matt or polished black, dark grey and diamante.

IRL car Audi TT Forza Motorsport Edition comes with game

The Audi TT Forza Motorsport Edition is a special car that will commemorate the release of the game Forza Motorsport 3. The vehicle, which was already amazing, will be branded with the Forza logo in several places. Polish gaming blog Gamekaze has pictures of this lovely vehicle, showing the logo placement.

This collaboration between Audi and Microsoft also gives car owners another bonus: the game itself. In the trunk they'll find a Xbox Elite 120GB and a copy of Forza Motorsport 3. Forza keychain? Why not?

This is lovely. And I need a new car. I'd have to ask the big robot in the sky for a bit of a raise, as TTs go for about $37k. I might as well give up hope, as they only made twenty of these special cars anyway.
