Daihatsu Car Brand

Since the year 1980, the world has already been introduced to the Daihatsu Cuore. This vehicle has constantly been in production since that year and until present, manufacture and production for this vehicle has still not halted. It runs under the Daihatsu brand and is classified and categorized as a hatchback. In Japan, which is the home country of the Daihatsu Cuore, this vehicle is known and marketed as the Daihatsu Mira. However, in other places around the world, this same vehicle is also known as Daihatsu Domino or the Daihatsu Charade.
The Daihatsu Cuore has been made available in two body style options which are both hatchbacks however the difference lies in the number of doors that it has. One holds three doors while another holds five. This vehicle from the 1980s actually replaced the Daihatsu Fellow when the latter's production was halted. The Daihatsu Cuore shares most of its components with other Daihatsu vehicles like the Daihatsu Leeza, the Daihatsu Move, the Daihatsu YRV, the Daihatsu Copen, the Daihatsu Terios, and the Daihatsu Opti. This vehicle's competition include the Suzuki Altoworks, the Mitsubishi Dangun ZZ, the Subaru Vivio, and the Suzuki Cervo.
The company markets the Daihatsu Cuore as a new variety and entry to the mini car segment and it claims that this vehicle would serve as an avenue for channeling changes to this category. The present version of the Daihatsu Cuore is more elegant and has a style that appeals greatly to the younger buyers. It has also been made available with a range of bright and vivid body color choices which comprise of Black Mica, Blue Mica Metallic, Champagne Metallic Opal, Lavender Metallic Opal, Red, Rose Metallic Opal, Silver Metallic, and White.
Despite the fact that the Daihatsu Cuore is a small car, one who would take a further look at the vehicle would know that this vehicle has a whole lot things to offer. In fact, in its segment, it is considered as the most spacious. It also comes with safety and comfort features that are of high quality. Daihatsu claims that the Daihatsu Cuore holds a very fine design compared to the rest of the vehicles in its class. As a petrol car, this vehicle delivers and performs with a fuel economy that is considered as the best in this category.

Glamorous and Fast Sports Car

The classic look of the Ferrari is its blazing race red color next to the distinguished black steed on canary yellow background topped by the Italian flag. Colors have been the essence of luxury when it comes to expensive cars. But what's the Ferrari, and how did its recognition come to be?
The Ferrari essentially began Italian Enzo Ferrari's corporation of the Scuderia Ferrari in 1929. He didn't exactly build the company for the purpose of selling luxury sports vehicles built for the road, but to simply provide sponsorship for the Modena-based newbie automobile racers and fans. Its founder, for a time, successfully raced drivers in Alfa Romeos until he learned of Alfa Romeo's desire to purchase Scuderia.
This forced Enzo to inevitably carry on with Scuderia Ferrari on his own. What made this great man begin the massive Ferrari sports car empire? It was a result of the need to finance the Scuderia that he reluctantly sold the very first Ferrari, dubbed the 125 S, in the year 1947.
However, the force that was Ferrari failed to come to be as a consequence of just an image of luxury and prestige, since Enzo did not wish to even begin sales of his racecars. What gave the Ferrari its niche market was its gorgeous design and breakneck driving speeds.
Knowing this particularly fascinating history; speed up to the present and we have the sports auto giant Ferrari still holding true to its reputation of beauty and speed.
The fastest Ferrari sports car to date is the 2002 Ferrari ENZO, designed by the Pininfarina design house. The new-found speed of the Ferrari ENZO comes from the fact that every bit of the design facet of this model serves a specific speed or aerodynamic function.
The Ferrari ENZO is a tribute to its Formula 1 participation, making a statement both on the race track and on the glamorous and fast sports car lists. For one, its sleek and pointed front were built to facilitate the airflow, helping cool the brakes and the engine during the heat of a race. The entire body's shape is to create effective aerodynamics and reduce drag.
Beginning with the Ferrari ENZO is the option for buyers to personalize the Ferrari's cockpit in order to best suit their taste and needs.
Enzo Ferrari built an empire on the statement of beauty and speed. With its continued patronage for these 2 values through the years, expect Ferrari to resume being a force to be reckoned with.

The Design of Ford Motor Company's Cars

The first production Model T, also known as the Tin Lizzie and Flivver rolled off the production line on September 27, 1908 at the Piquette Plant in Detroit, Michigan.
Henry Ford proclaimed "You can have your Model T in any color you wish, as long as it's black"
When the first Ford was driven off the assembly line, the car itself was not the biggest breakthrough, the assembly line that built it was. Henry Ford's idea of an assembly line was copied by innumerable manufacturers of every product imaginable. His car was not as revolutionary and did not have the long term impact that his production line did. There were already cars available at the time.
The Model A was the first vehicle produced under the Ford Motor Company badge.
Henry Ford did a poll as to what the consumers most wanted in a car. He put as many of those items in one car as he could and he named the car after his son. The Edsel. This car was a disaster on the sales line, very few sold.
The design of one of Ford Motor Company's cars was said to have nothing that anyone would want, that it would be a white elephant. It would be a huge monetary failure and would make Ford look ridiculous. This car was the Mustang. Introduced first in late 1964 as a 1964 ½ model, it was meant for the secretary. A little get around' car. This car appealed to the public at large, it spawned it's own culture and even today, the little car has grown up into a meaty beast that has an incredible following. The original Mustang was based on the Ford Fairlane chassis.
The PEANUTS characters first showed up in animated form in a commercial for the Ford Fairlane.
The tradition of spraying champagne after winning a race was started when three GT40s placed in first, second and third place at the Le Mans in 1966.
Henry Ford resigned from the company once, allowing his son Edsel Ford to step up and take over. When Edsel Ford died of cancer in 1943 Henry Ford reclaimed the reins of the company and then turned them over to Henry Ford II (his grandson) in September of 1945.
Edsel Ford's middle name was Bryant.
Edsel founded and named the Mercury division of Ford, he was also responsible for the Lincoln Zephyr and the still popular name plate. The Lincoln Continental.
Edsel Ford helped to finance many exploratory expeditions, including Admiral Richard Byrd's historic flight over the North Pole that was completed in 1926.
The first Thunderbird rolled off the lines in 1955, it was meant to be a direct competitor to the Chevrolet Corvette. It was a two seater with a V8 engine.
Ford released it's May 2009 sales numbers and they are the best since July of last year. For the seventh straight month, Ford's market share has increased as the newest Mustang and other new models continue in their popularity.

Want the oddballs in the automotive world? Well, brace yourself for the most eccentric cars off the roads. They are exotic. They are intriguing. But they are not for everybody to have and hold.
In today’s auto shows, manufacturers are shelling out a fortune to be part of the specialty market players that introduce the most eccentric cars. The recognition, regardless of the fact that the cars will not be allowed on the roads, is enough to make the automakers elated.
One of the exotic cars ever launched is the Artega, which was penned by Henrik Fisker, famed for being an extraordinary designer. The car is a fresh contribution from a new German automaker that plans to enter in the manufacture of high-performance sports cars for daily use. The 2008 Artega features a 3.6-liter Volkswagen-sourced V6 mated to the DSG twin-clutch gearbox of the company to produce maximum output of 300 horsepower via the rear wheels.
Another odd car is dubbed Carver One, which is said to be the “the world’s first commercially available self-balancing, tilting, three-wheeled vehicle.” Carver One is part motorcycle, part car; it is all about thrills over practicality. The contraption features a removable roof panel, 660-cubic-centimeter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, producing 68 horsepower and 74 pound-feet of torque.
Gumpert Apollo Sport is another eccentric car to behold. Apollo Sport is given the high-performing mid-engine supercar powered by a 4.2-liter Audi V8 engine. It also features a fixed rear wing, rugged body, and gullwing doors that flip up on their roof-mounted hinges. It resembles the looks of a race car straight out of the FIA GT European supercar series.
Make way for the Rinspeed eXasis, a drivable “glass” car that features an aluminum frame with a clear plastic body and floor. The car is powered by a 150-hp two-cylinder engine, which sits on the transmission. To note, the car’s power-to-weight ratio puts it in line with the likes of a Porsche.
The Spanish automaker A. D. Tramontana has set forth a carbon-fiber road missile as a melding of Formula One cars and fighter planes. The company said the Tramontana was “modeled on the streamlined curves of the Costa Brava’s winds.” The car is given a twin-turbo V12 engine that generates 720 horsepower, about as powerful as a race car. The full production version of the car will go on sale this summer in Europe.
